A great Grand Prix start for TAC

CHRIS CAMPBELL 8 MAY 2012

Well, the first race of the new Grand Prix season heralded another great club turnout for us, including the first race in TAC colours for our newest members Ashley Eastwood, Donna Catlow & Simon Lister - a big welcome to you all!

I have to do this report based on photographs as I wasn't there, so a bit of artistic license is being employed. However, it looked to be a pleasant sunny day, and fairly dry under foot.

Heath took the TAC spoils, proving that all this running in the park chasing his dog is indeed paying off! He finished in 43.03 & 18th place overall, a good race that Heath. Darren Horner knocked 20 seconds off his previous best to finish 2nd TAC & Paul shook off the stiffness of the Fellsman to finish 3rd TAC runner.

Molly made a strong comeback to finish first TAC lady and also took first FV35 prize, with Nicola Nuttall taking 2nd FV40 prize.

Kimberley Livesey must take the prize for most improved race result, beating last years time by 5 minutes - beat that if you can!

Well done everyone!
