Pendle Predator & Mini Predator

Ok, so it's not running, but involves some of our members so what the heck!

Sunday saw the running of this combined cycle event; the Predator comprising a 175km ride & the Mini Predator a "mere" 100km - I think it's a misprint myself and it should be 17.5 km & 10km, that's more the distance I'm used to!

Three TAC members took part in the mini event with our very own social secretary Mrs Molly Ralphson finishing in a brilliant 4th overall position & first lady, in a time of 4hrs 34 min - I wonder if we'll ever see her running again, she's getting the hang of this winning on a bike lark!

Phil Richardson used the age old excuse of a broken chain to cover the humiliation of being beaten by a woman to finish in 5.09, with Chris Crabtree overcoming his injuries of the Adidas 24hr thunder run to finish less than 10 minutes behind Phil in 5.17.

Steve Gregory was the only one to be stupid, ahem, brave enough to attempt the full predator, finishing again in a brilliant 6th overall time of 7hrs 28m.

Well done to you all, now get some running done instead of this soft biking lark :o)
