INFORMATION

05/04 - 'A' TEAM UPDATE We've had one more minor change with the team. Matt Renshaw is now with me on Leg 1, and Jim has swapped to run with Peter on Leg 3. 05/04 - 'B' TEAM UPDATE Okay, we've had another enforced change in the ranks as Dean suffered an injury recurrence in the Ogden Valley Round this week, so Dave Lord is now running with Dave Smith on the last leg. Sandra has also pulled out as reserve with a troublesome knee! 25/04 - RECCE UPDATE From Matt Renshaw: If anyone is keen, I’d be happy to arrange a few recce evenings or Saturday mornings before the event. I have run most of the Calderdale way at some point or other (although not usually racing). There are six legs in total with the first starting at 8.00am. Each stage must be run by two runners in pairs who must stay together at all times. The route is NOT flagged and there are a minimum of marshals out on the course. Teams are expected to know the route prior to race day. TAC 'A' Team (as of 5th May) Leg 1 - 46 & Matt Renshaw Leg 2 - 21 & Danny Clarke Leg 3 - Peter Stobbs & Jim Garside Leg 4 - 3 & Lee Booth Leg 5 - Heath McDonald-Noble & Matt Haworth Leg 6 - 1 & Scott Grant Reserve: NONE! TAC 'B' Team (as of 5th May) Leg 1 - Fiona Hall & Tony Hall Leg 2 - Colin Ashworth & Neil Alderman (updated) Leg 3 - Mark McConville & Alison Sugden Leg 4 - Alison Hoyle & Fionnuala Swann Leg 5 - Jenny Garside & Karen Wood Leg 6 - Dave Smith & Dave Lord (new) Reserve:NONE! Although it's standard practice for FRA organised races and most of you will have come across them before, please remember these important points or we risk team disqualification: 1. Each runner MUST carry or wear water/windproof WHOLE BODY COVER, plus hat, gloves, whistle, compass and map of the course/leg, otherwise you will NOT run 2. Pairs of runners MUST stay together at all times. 3. All team members MUST run in club colours/vests Details and stats of the course, legs and cut off times, plus maps and other info can be access via the links above. There is also a link to the main relay website which has LOTS of information on the individual legs, including some Google maps and comprehensive navigational instructions. Please make sure you check everything at least twice!
